February, 1997,
8 p.m., $10 - Brooks Williams Brooks Williams is the consumate Boston songwriter who's as at home singing in a pub in Ireland as he is singing in your living room. An incredible guitarist, he's also pretty handy at singing and creating a beautiful melody line. With several albums to his credit already, he's working on another that's all guitar work; make sure when you come to sit up close and watch those fingers fly! |

March, 1997, 8 p.m., $10 - Bob Franke Bob's been around forever and you've probably heard someone else sing one of his songs and never knew who the songwriter was. Author of such hits as Great Storm is Over and Thanksgiving Eve, Bob brings a sense of humanity to his music that probably comes from his aborted years in training for the Episcopalean priesthood. His skill in performing can have his audience laughing in one song and crying in the next. He's sure to move you as well.
