February 26--8
p.m., $10 - Cosy Sheridan A songwriter who's won Kerrville and Telluride, with 5 albums to her credit, Cosy is best described as a wonderful entertainer who happily points out human hilarities in one song and human frailties and darkness in the next. With a gift for melodies and a voice to match, she's sure to captivate you with her writing and her informal presence. |

March 30--8
p.m., $10 - Kate Campbell If you want to understand the mysteries of the south, you can get a degree in southern studies or you can just come hear Kate Campbell. She's toured with Emmy Lou Harris, appeared on NPR's All Things Considered, and won Boston's Best New Artist Award. Her songs are delightful microcosms of the world, with particularly poignant portrayals of people you'd swear you'd met somewhere in your lifetime. With a gorgeous voice and wonderfully spare guitar work, she's not to be missed. |

May 20--8 p.m., $10 - Scott Petito and Leslie Ritter Scott & Leslie have been performing, writing, producing and teaching for years. Leslie, formerly of the group Amy & Leslie, lends her clear soprano voice and impeccable musical sense to the duo with Scott playing virtually every kind of musical instrument possible. Scott's a member of the band The Fugs and both have performed with folks like Tom Paxton, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder and The Band. Their new album, In the Silence, has received critical acclaim and with it they've managed to cross boundaries between new age, pop and folk. |

June 7--8 p.m.,
$10 - Brooks Williams Brooks has to be seen to be believed. An incredible guitarist, he moves from traditional folk sounding ballads to explosive bluesy/rock with a slide to Joseph Spence ala Brooks Williams. He's won awards for his exquisite guitar playing, but a live performance includes such a wonderful glimpse of the Georgia native who taught himself to play guitar by listening to rock records. His fans are die-hards, including our own WDIY Acoustic Eclectic host Otto Bost who uses a Brooks tune to open his radio show every Monday night. |
